Dr. Leonard Moran is co-founder, Chairman & CTO of Ovagen. He is an entrepreneur with 30+ years experience and an in-depth knowledge of the Pharm/BioPharma Industry. Leonard is a world expert in Germ Free technology having headed the Germ Free Department at the Medical Research Council in the UK for 10 years. He has led the Germ Free technical development in Ovagen since inception and is the primary driver of the development of the Ovagen process to produce Germ Free eggs to scale. Prior to establishing Ovagen Leonard founded Biological Laboratories, a global Contract Research Organisation (CRO). He is a Fellow of the Institute of Biology and a Chartered Biologist (C.Biol., F.I.Biol.) since 1990 and was conferred with an Honorary Doctorate in Science by NUI Galway Ireland in June 2013 in recognition for his contribution to Scientific Research.
